|HK/KLN/NT Youths Testimony Fellowship||26th May 2018|
|Thank the Lord, the Combined Youth Testimonial service was held in Hong Kong
Church on 26th May. Three brethren shared their testimonies, two of which were
brothers and the other a sister. The testimonies shared by the three brethren
were about their marriages. After listening to their testimonies, I clearly
understood two things.|
The first thing was, if we have a spiritual partner we are able to encourage
each other. Sometimes when we are walking the spiritual path alone and we
encounter difficulties we will fall easily. According to Ecclesiastes 4:9-10,
12, "Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone
when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Though one may be overpowered
by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
The second thing is that we often pray and make requests with particular
expectations to God but sometimes, things do not go according to our plans. We
will begin to doubt whether the Lord has listened to our prayers, or whether we
have done something wrong and the Lord is not listening to our prayers. In fact,
the Lord is listening. He has His own wonderful arrangements for us, because the
Lord truly understands our needs. He will help us according to His will.
Therefore, as Christians, we must always have faith in the Lord. As recorded in
2 Corinthians 5:7 " For we walk by faith, not by sight." Matthew 21:22
"And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive".

|Combined Evergreen Fellowship Service||1st May 2018|
|Hallelujah! In the name of the Lord Jesus I testify. Thank the Lord for His
guidance, the annual Combined Evergreen Fellowship Service organised by TJC Hong
Kong Coordination Board, was successfully held on the 1st May in Kowloon Church.
Since it was a public holiday, Kowloon Church had coincidentally rescheduled
their evening service to the morning. Joining us were also many elderly brethren
from the UK where they had came back earlier to attend the Thanksgiving Service
at Ap Chau. It was very lively as the number of people that participated reached
The event was mainly attended by the elderly brethren from Hong Kong Church,
Kowloon Church, Tai Po Church, Western District Church and Tsuen Wan Church. The
purpose was to have fellowship and to interact with one another. Since some
churches do not have an Evergreen Fellowship, members from the Steadfast
Fellowship were also invited.
Thank God! Preacher Li Jing Ming encouraged us using examples of fervency in
servitude from the old believers in the Bible and his own experiences in what he
saw and heard from Taiwan, as mutual encouragement. Together with each local
church, we offered hymns to praise God. From this we could see our elderly
members were still full of energy, full of spirit and the love of God. Although
the fellowship was held inside the chapel, the atmosphere of the whole event was
relaxed, full of laughter and joy. Finally, Kowloon Church had also prepared a
meal for everyone, as we could converse with each other whilst enjoying our
May our Lord Jesus continue to look after and bless our elderly members, and
remember the hard work of the organizers of this event! Hallelujah! Amen!
