Recovery from Melanocyte Cancer

About end of March 2018, a black spot appeared on my right foot’s big toenail and I thought it was a fungal infection. However, in just 6 weeks the black spot increased in size from a sesame seed to two-thirds its original size and there were ulcerations inflamed on the nail.
At the beginning of May 2018, because I was going to Korea for a holiday, I went to the family doctor to prescribe some basic medications for travel. While I was there, I asked the doctor to examine the black spot on my toenail. The doctor’s initial diagnosis was Melanocyte cancer and I had only 3 months to 1 year left to live! My first feeling was to thank God because He still gave me time to arrange matters with my family. Three days later, I was referred to a specialist by my family doctor (however, because I was going on holiday to Korea, the specialist appointment was delayed till the 18th May).

On the day of the 18th May, my daughter accompanied me to the clinic and the black area on my big toenail had reduced in size by a half. The specialist doctor could not verify exactly the disease unless he took a biopsy of the nail tissue to confirm. He also pointed out that if they took a biopsy there could be a high risk of an infection to the wound. Therefore, the doctor used fungal infection treatment as a temporary measure and instructed me to apply the ointment twice daily. Finally, after the persistent prayers of the church brethren and my family, my big toe nail gradually recovered, the black spot disappeared and turned light grey. Thank the Lord.
Going through this with my family, I firmly believe in the existence of God. He truly loves us and listens to our prayers. Not only did He cure me, He guided my husband to believe and saved my whole family.
